RecordDesk

We read public business records, and we tell the owner what they say.

Every US state publishes its corporate register, its trade licences and its enforcement actions. Almost nobody reads their own entry. Insurers, lenders and prime contractors read it before they price you.

We pull those records, put them side by side, and send the business owner a plain-English summary of what someone checking them up would find.

Where our information comes from

State corporate registers · state trade-licensing boards · state enforcement and compliance databases · county permit records · the company's own public website.

All of it is public and free to access. We buy nothing from data brokers, we do not use credit files, and we do not make phone calls to your customers, your neighbours or your staff.

What we do with it

We send you the summary. If you press the button on it, we pass your file to insurance agents who work in your trade and your state, and they contact you. If you do not press it, nothing happens and nothing is passed on.

What we are not

We are not a government agency and we are not connected to one. We are not an insurer and not a broker. We do not sell insurance and we do not give financial or legal advice.

Corrections and removal

If something in a summary we sent you is wrong, tell us and we correct it. If you want to be removed, reply STOP to the email and you are removed.
